Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams joins Rooster Teeth's "gen: LOCK" – Variety

Maisie Williams joined the cast of "gen: LOCK", the animated series of Rooster Teeth. The news was announced at RTX London, the UK edition of the Rooster Teeth exhibition, currently underway.

RTX London fans have also seen a third teaser for the next show. The anime series will be skewed on the Rooster Teeth subscription service. As part of a world war, he follows a team of young pilots who control the next generation of giant and armed robot bodies, known as Mecha.

Williams, the star of "Game of Thrones", will play Cammie MacLoud, a malicious Sottish hacker and the youngest recruit in the gen: LOCK program. She joins a group of voices composed of Michael B. Jordan ("Black Panther"), who plays the main character, and David Tennant ("Doctor Who") and Dakota Fanning ("The Alienist").

Gray G. Haddock created "gen: LOCK" and is the showrunner. "Maisie really looks like what Cammie does in my head, she's great," he said.

The show is the second animated series of Rooster Teeth Animation after "RWBY", which has gone through several seasons. Outlier Productions, by Michael B. Jordan, co-produced with Rooster Teeth.
