Geoffrey Owens proposed to Tyler Perry to present himself at the exhibition OWN Show

Tyler Perry contacted Owens via Twitter on Tuesday, September 4th. In his tweet, Perry invited Owens to join the shooting of OWN's "number one", which should begin next week. And Owens took it on him.

Geoffrey Owens will appear in the next season of the crime drama The Haves and the Not Nots. And it will not be a short role either. Owens has signed on 10 episodes, by TMZ. He will join the cast in Atlanta next week. This seems to confirm that the drama Tyler Perry was referring to in his tweet was The Haves and the Not Nots, which is currently the flagship cable network show.

His new role marks Geoffrey Owens' first multi-episode arc since HBO series Divorced in 2016. The recent appearances of the actor on the screen included spots on the supernatural series Lucifer and the criminal drama of NBC The blacklist, both in 2017. Owens also played in the first season of CBS's Sherlock-inspired series. Elementary. All have a very dedicated audience.

For now, there are no details about the character Geoffrey Owens will be playing on The Haves and the Not Nots.
