Comedian George Lopez will go to court, accused of facing charges, during a confrontation in the month of October "MAGA" that took a physical turn and was filmed.
A police report obtained by the entertainment website TMZ confirms that a summons was sent to anti-Trump celebrity the day after a man's attack in the Hooter restaurant in New Mexico. The incident, which was recorded with a cell phone camera, shows that Mr. Lopez is approaching a man speaking of "bull".
"It's a bada … look at it! He wants to beat me. Oh! George wants to beat me, "said a man on his mobile phone and his neck seems to have been seized by the comedian.
"The officer said he informed George that he would receive a court summons for battery and that George was compliant," TMZ reported.
Mr. Lopez told the agents that the restaurant guest was trying to incite him to violence by repeating the rhetoric favorable to Trump.
He must appear in court in December, announced the website.
