The No. 3 Georgia Bulldogs did not have a tough opponent in the first week of the college football season, but they will get one in their second game Saturday against the No. 24 Gamecocks of South Carolina. It's a road game for the Bulldogs, a good indicator of their quality and their is set for 15:30 ET on CBS (live streaming via FuboTV and CBS All-Access).
For the Gamecocks, Sunday's game represents a chance to show that they should be ranked higher and that they are serious competitors in the SEC East. For Georgia, this is a chance to take over a ranked opponent, and to embark on a series of upcoming games that they should win.

In both teams, they faced teams that were unlikely to succeed. Georgia faced Austin Peay's governors, winning in a 45-0 match. The Georgia quarter had 21 of 27 passes for 224 yards and three touchdowns, while the team made 33 attempts for 284 yards.
The Coastal Carolina Chanticleers fought, at least late, but they eventually lost to the Gamecocks, 49-15. South Carolina spends 294 yards and five touchdowns for a total of 263 yards and two more touchdowns.
Georgia is currently fifth in the S & P + prediction with 28.7 points, while South Carolina is 30th with 13.5 points. Georgia would thus be favored by 15.2 points on a neutral ground. It's not a neutral ground, but it's hard to imagine the advantage of the South Carolina field.
