Gerard Butler described the experience as "heartbreaking across California" after learning that his home was burned to ashes.

The Woolsey fire broke out on Thursday night and drove back to Malibu and the Pacific Ocean on Friday, resulting in evacuations to Malibu, Calabasas, Agoura Hills and surrounding areas. Authorities said Saturday that at least 150 homes had been burned down.

The stars of "Beverly Hills, 90210" and "Charmed", Shannen Doherty, said "her heart was torn" after losing the Malibu home where she married her husband in 2011.

After posting an Instagram photo of her wedding day, Doherty wrote, "This place. I got married there. But before that, it was the place that @chriscortazzo had left me to stay after my father's death. He left. The fire took him away. I am devastated by everything that happens. "

Doherty was out of town when the fire broke out, but friends staying at his property were able to evacuate safely with the dogs and the actress' horse.

The fast flames also claimed Robin Thicke's home in Malibu.

The singer's pregnant girlfriend, April Love Geary, shared a photo of the couple's damaged house in a story on Instagram. "Our house is gone," she writes with a crying emoji.

Camille Grammer, a reporter for "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills", confirmed early Sunday morning on Instagram that her house was in flames: "Unfortunately, my house could not be saved.The brave firefighters were able to save my cars and personal items recovered from my home. "

Grammer, who married David C. Meyer last month, said she was "grateful for the safety of my family".

However, other celebrities are still waiting for the fate of their home.

Liam Payne, a member of One Direction, tweeted his fear that he "is about to lose my house and his memories". He also warned anyone caught in the fire not to "take unnecessary risks".
