Editors love hyperbolising, baiting clicks with phrases like "you will not believe" or "you will not recognize it like that! But in the case of Gisele Bundchen's latest magazine cover, this choice of word is rather justified.
The Brazilian model, who last marched at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, really Is seems unrecognizable on the October cover of Vogue Italia. It's largely because it's channeling the Italian pop icon of the 1960s Mina Mazzini with curly red hair, a dark red lip and a smoky eye. ("Forever Mina", says the cover in tribute to the singer "Zum Zum Zum", who turns 60 this year.)
"It's always fun when I play different roles modeling and feeling what it's like to be completely different," 38-year-old Bundchen wrote in an Instagram legend that made the cover on Wednesday.
