A fire risk forces Toyota to recall more than one million of its popular hybrid vehicles.

General Motors's recall of more than a million full-size pickup trucks and large SUVs for management malfunction, as well as those involving sausages and eggs, were the most notable product recalls of the week. .
• GM: The builder recalls 1.02 million vehicles – some 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and 2015 GMC 1500 pickup trucks – as well as the 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe, Chevy Suburban, GMC Yukon and 2015 Cadillac Escalade SUVs – for defects that may result in a temporary loss of power steering. According to GM, the defect could lead drivers "to have difficulty steering the vehicle, especially at low speed, which increases the risk of collision."
GM said it identified 30 accidents and two injuries, but no deaths related to the defect.
GM's recall comes one week after Ford Motor recalled nearly 2 million pickup trucks to repair a seat belt defect that could trigger vehicle fires.

• Bob Evans Farms: Xenia, Ohio, recalled more than 46,700 pounds of pork sausage links for possible contamination with foreign matter, including pieces of clear hard plastic.
Five brands of sausage links, produced on August 1st, were recalled: Bob Evans Maple Pork Sausage Links (October 16 or October 19 dates of use), Bob Evans Brown Sugar & Honey (16 October), Fresh Meijer maple flavored sausage links (September 6), breakfast sausage with pork sausage at Eagle Giant Eagle and breakfast sausage at maple from Schnucks (September 10) and inspection service.

• Gravel Ridge Farm Eggs: The farm in Cullman, Alabama, recalled its large Cage Free quality eggs, in packages of a dozen and 2.5 dozen eggs, for possible Salmonella contamination. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have linked the eggs to a multi-state salmonella outbreak.

• BioLyte Laboratories. The natural drug manufacturer in Grand Rapids, Michigan, recalls its NeoRelief product for topical gel of muscle cramps and agitation, for possible microbial contamination.
Some of the product's active ingredients, sold in 2-ounce bottles and 4-milligram packages, are manufactured by King Bio in Asheville, North Carolina. Two weeks ago, he recalled all his products for children, adults and pets who use water because of potential problems of purity.
