Goldman Sachs has three new partners in its local team.
Special situations head for Australia and New Zealand David Gribble; Nell Hutton, head of the securities division in Australia and New Zealand; and Craig Murray, who oversees financial institutions group coverage in Asia Pacific ex-Japan, were announced as partners overnight.
The trio are among 69 Goldman Sachs bankers, traders and asset managers to be invited to join the global ranks.
They join Goldman's local CEO Simon Rothery, head of investment banking Christian Johnston, and M & A head Nick Sims as partners in Australia.
Goldman Sachs partners every two years. There were 69 appointments in the latest round, which are smaller than previous years. The group includes the highest number of women in history – Hutton is the first ever Australian female partner.

"The partner class of 2018 is smaller than in recent years, highlighting the aspirational nature of the partnership," David David Solomon and John E. Waldron said.
"In addition, we are pleased that this year's class includes the highest percentage of women and black partners in our history."
