Google Execs Lamenting Trump 2016 Win in Leaked Video

A video released Wednesday on the right-wing news site Breitbart shows that Google executives have lamented Donald Trump's election to the presidency shortly after his victory in 2016.

The video, which was recorded at one of Google's weekly meetings, includes footage of Google's co-founder Sergey Brin decrying Trump's election.

"Let's face it, most people here are very upset and very sad because of the elections," Brin says. "As an immigrant and refugee, I certainly find that this election is deeply offensive and I know that many of you too."

The video serves to exacerbate existing tensions between Republicans and the tech giant (googl). In late August, Trump accused the site of rigging his search results and suppressing conservative voices. It has been seen that Google has also provoked Republicans by failing to send a leader to testify at a hearing of the Senate Intelligence Committee last week on foreign interference in the elections.

For its part, Google has denied the allegations of liberal bias following the publication of the video. Riva Sciuto, a spokeswoman for Google, said some Google employees "have expressed their personal views following a long election season."

She added that "nothing has been said at this meeting or any other meeting to suggest that any political bias influences the way we build or operate our products. On the contrary, our products are designed for everyone.

But Trump 2020 campaign manager Brad Parscale does not buy it. Parscale calls on Congress to investigate Google, add that society must "explain why it is not a threat to the Republic".

In a second tweet he wrote"Only @Google could make @facebook look like the good ones. Mark should send them a gift.
