Federal prosecutors in New York are investigating charges against former White House lawyer Greg Craig in an investigation related to Paul Manafort, according to a report released.
Prosecutors at the US District Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York could also take action against well-connected law firm Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, where Craig was a partner during the year. The activity in question, reported CNN.
The investigation focuses on whether Craig improperly lobbied on behalf of a group associated with Ukraine without registering with the Department of Justice as a foreign agent, says the report. from CNN.
