Everyone loves Gritty, the new Flyers mascot
I must admit that when the Flyers introduced Gritty, their new mascot, to the world yesterday afternoon, I was not a fan. I think it was mostly the absence of a nose and a natural dislike for mascots.
But at the end of the day, I did a 180. Gritty debuted on the ice last night and it was a resounding success.
He slipped and fell several times.
He used the T-shirt gun as a weapon.
He imitated Kim Kardashian.
What is there to love?
