Dan Dotson, the familiar face of the reality TV show A & E "Storage Wars", was standing up at a charity event in Indio on November 1 when a silent woman approached him.

Mr Dotson said that when the original owners of the storage unit discovered that their storage locker was being sold, they asked their lawyer to contact the new owner in order to negotiate an agreement to recover the storage unit. ;money. The lawyer initially offered $ 600,000 to the new owner of the unit on $ 7.5 million, but they eventually agreed to retain $ 1.2 million and return the rest.
Dotson and his wife, Laura, told the story in a video posted on Nov. 7 on YouTube. On the video, Laura Dotson asks viewers what they would have done with this money.

Laura Dotson adds that the story of a storage unit is sometimes a mystery. Sometimes the landlord moves away, forgets to pay rent, ends up in prison or even dies.

While Dan and Laura Dotson are known as auctioneers featured in "Storage Wars," this sale was simply a routine sale by their US-based American Caliresa company, American Auctioneers, California.
But Dan Dotson said that he would tell this story over the next 20 years. Although his work has led buyers to find many great treasures, no unit has ever accumulated so much money in his experience.
