It seems that even Guillermo del Toro, two-time Academy Award winner for "The Shape of Water", has trouble shooting some of his films: he tweeted a list of 17 films that he says ready to broadcast, notably "Dark Justice League."
His list, which also includes a TV pilot for Marvel's The Hulk, includes projects "developed, fully written or co-written" but "not yet produced (so far)".
These are not just projects of passion. In addition to the "Dark Justice League", which is a much darker version of DC's super-team, it also has versions of Disney's "Beauty and the Beast" and "Haunted Mansion" as well a remake of "Fantastic Journey".

"To be clear, these scenarios are WRITTEN, done," Del Toro said Monday in a series of tweets. "Each of them took months, years of my life. Summary of meetings, timesheets and have all been written, features, 90-130 pages each. "
Del Toro said the movies represent a decade of work "lost" and added that they are not chimeras.

At least one of the projects, "Pacific Rim 2", has already been made, but he said on Twitter that his version is "very different" from the version that the public finally saw, "Pacific Rim: Uprising".
Several other projects have already been reported and have gradually disappeared over the years.
