Todd Gurley and Brandon Scherff occupy different positions for different teams on different shores, but here is an area where they cross each other: they are both really good and very reliable.
And these are two qualities that few members of the 2015 NFL Draft have demonstrated over the years since this class entered the league.

While some wondered if taking guard as high was a cautious decision, the number 75 makes it less credible as it plays. The 27-year-old has missed just two of the 55 possible Skins games, has already made two pro Bowls and is about to win a third place.
Jay Gruden thinks Scherff is the best lineman in the NFL, Trent Williams has called it "born mauler" and Adrian Peterson has praised its reliability.
Essentially, all he does is present himself on Thursdays, Sundays and Mondays, bury those who have the misfortune to cross and improve the offensive line of Burgundy and gold.
Looking around him, Melvin Gordon really starts to get noticed by the Chargers and is probably Scherff's main competition for this position behind Gurley. His average yardage average is still less than four, but he has become a copcate of Gurley as a RB who helps as a runner and receiver and who scores consistently.
Some DBs – Marcus Peters and Byron Jones – have also been well known in the NFL. And if Amari Cooper was still producing what he had done in the beginning, he might be right behind Gurley, but he has fallen and is now looking to come back as a Cowboy.
Regardless of where exactly you place Scherff, however, he continues to stand out as one of the best selections of 2015. What was considered early on as a litter is becoming a total success. .
To put it simply, good guard was the right choice for the Redskins.
