Hailey Baldwin has filed the surname of Justin Bieber, according to reports

The world has a question for Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin: Are you married or not? My God. The mystery hurts my head. But what Hailey Baldwin just did could allude to the current state of their relationship. Hailey Baldwin has filed a trademark with Justin Bieber's last name, according to a TMZ report. And if that's true, I'm totally and completely shaken. Elite Daily contacted Baldwin's team for confirmation on the report, but had no response at the time of publication.

So, as a reminder, there have been many exchanges in the press regarding the marital status of Baldwin and Bieber. First of all, it was reported that they had tied the knot during a wedding in court on Thursday, September 13 in New York. So everyone thought the couple was married for a hot second, until Baldwin jumped on Twitter to deny the rumors, tweeting, "I understand where the speculation comes from, but I'm not sure. not married yet! " So everyone thought were not married.

But Baldwin ended up suppressing this tweet, and then Bieber would have called Baldwin as his wife during a visit to the Stratford Perth Museum in Ontario, Canada, to see their new exhibition Justin Bieber in early October. Here is the article from the Stratford Perth Museum about this ordeal, in which they asserted that "Justin very kindly introduced Hailey as his wife." (Elite Daily contacted the Bieber and Baldwin teams about the museum's claims, date of publication.)

Whatever it is, let's just say that Bieber and Baldwin fans do not know what believe.

Now, TMZ reports that Baldwin has filed an application for registration of the mark under the name "Hailey Bieber". Apparently, the application does not yield much, apart from the fact that it would have filed the name of the mark, but what would have been specified in the application, is that the mark is supposed to cover a possible project of clothing. (As a reminder, Hailey and her team have not yet provided Elite Daily with comment on her name change request or on the hope of a clothing project in the future.)

Now, tell me this: Why Will Hailey Baldwin deposit the trademark Hailey Bieber if she was not married to Justin Bieber? If that is true, I imagine that it is possible that she will get her ducks in a row as she will finally marry Bieber, but that seems rather premature. And can you even do it, as legally? I am not a lawyer, all of you.

In any event, what is certain is that the filing of the Hailey Bieber mark is not the same as the filing of Actually change your last name. So, even if Baldwin filed this purported trademark application, that does not necessarily mean that she is officially married or that she is Actually Hailey Bieber.

According to Entertainment Tonight, both spouses would be legally married, but wish to keep their relationship private for the time being. That's why Bieber does not carry any alliance. An internal source reportedly told the publication,

Justin and Hailey are legally married, but Justin tells his friends that he is not considering wearing an alliance for a while. Although Hailey and Justin are aware of their relationship, they try not to make it a show, and that is why they kept their marriage secret and got engaged without telling anyone.

Earlier, Elite Daily had contacted Bieber and Baldwin's teams about the report that they were already married, but had not heard anything at the time of publication.

Basically, at the end of the day, fans still know absolutely nothing about the current status of Bieber and Baldwin. We are still as confused as ever. Oy vey.
