WEST POINT, NY (AP) – An air force hawk mascot was injured during a joke before the annual football match against the army, according to a senior official. from the Air Force Academy.

The mascot Aurora, a 22-year-old hawk, suffered an undisclosed injury and was to be brought back to Colorado for an Air Force Academy specialist, according to Troy Garnhart, assistant athletic director for strategic communications at the school.
