"There was a lot of trashy talk before and after, but my job is ultimately to help this team win football games," Allen said.
When asked if Allen's performance had changed his perception of him, Ramsey responded that what was happening on the ground mattered more than anything.
"The good thing about the world we live in is that everyone can have an opinion," Ramsey said. "I'm sticking to my opinions in general – he's done enough for the team to get a win and that's really what matters at the end of the day. I said, I'm sure that's what he was thinking about next.
"You can have opinions, but that's what you did and what he did, it's go out there for his team and win a victory."
While Allen was a diplomat about the situation, at least one of his teammates said Sunday's game was important to him.
"They talked a lot about him so he was eager to go out and prove to them that they were wrong," said running back LeSean McCoy.

Ramsey called Allen trash in an August article from GQ magazine, while explaining why he thought the 2018 NFL draft was "a little apart".
