LOOK To learn more about childhood cancer and heart health, the Prince Court Medical Center is presenting a series of lectures for Children's Cancer Awareness Month and World Heart Day.
Cancer and the sick child
Although the diagnosis of cancer can be emotionally disturbing at any age, the situation is worse when the victim is a child. To understand and fight cancer in children, attend the conferences on September 22 from 9:30 to 14:00.
The panel of speakers includes:
* Dr. Muhammad Azrif Ahmad Annuar, Clinical Oncologist at the Prince Court Medical Center, spoke on "Hematologic Cancer – How Will Your Blood Help Cancer Patients?";
* Pediatric Session (Hematology and Oncology) Dr. Eni Juraida Abdul Rahman shares on "Fighting Cancer; Struggling for a Child's Life"; and
* The medical director of the National Cancer Society in Malaysia, Dr. M. Murallitharan, who will speak about "Supporting children in their journey against cancer: trials and tribulations".
Heart Health Discussions
Cardiologists at the Prince Court Medical Center will also give lectures on healthy heart choices that can help reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease.

These free conferences will be delivered on September 29th from 9am to 2pm.
