Health officials warn about exposure to measles at Newark Airport

The New Jersey Department of Health reports that a traveler with measles recently visited Terminal B at the Newark Liberty International Airport, potentially exposing others. travelers.

Officials say the man is an Israeli traveler and arrived in Newark on a flight from Tel Aviv on Friday, September 28th. Anyone who was inside Terminal B between 5:30 am and 10:30 am could have been exposed.

The person also went to Rockland County, New York. There were no other shows in New Jersey.

The symptoms may appear as late as October 19th. Symptoms include rash, high fever, coughing, runny nose and red, watery eyes.
