Between October 4 and 11, the person traveled extensively through Rockland County and Westchester County to New York and Montvale.

Measles is an airborne disease and highly contagious. People who have not been vaccinated can develop symptoms that look like a cold first, followed by a rash.

Symptoms usually appear about 10 to 12 days after exposure, but they can appear as early as a week and up to three weeks after.

If you think you have been infected, you are asked to call in advance and inform your doctor or clinic before your visit.

News 12 reached the gym and was invited to contact the company headquarters.
