Several homes and businesses were damaged in Cannon Falls, where the school was canceled Friday because of damage from fallen trees and power lines, reported the Minneapolis Star Tribune.
The school was also canceled at Waterville-Elysian-Morristown and classes were delayed by two hours in Medford, Faribault and Northfield due to the damage.

Another possible tornado has been reported in Ellsworth, Wisconsin; and in Iowa, floods and mudslides caused evacuations at a McGregor campground. A storm caused a gust of 75 mph in Estherville, Iowa, early Thursday night, the NWS reported.
The system should be pushing eastward Friday, where destructive winds, heavy hail and some tornadoes are potential threats.
