The wife and son of the owner of Leicester City laid a wreath at the club stadium after being killed along with four other people in a helicopter crash.
Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, two staff members, the pilot and one passenger, all died after the aircraft escaped from any control off the ground.
The club's first team and youth team are also at King Power Stadium.
A team investigating the Saturday night crash found the aircraft 's digital flight data recorder.
Police in Leicestershire named the other people killed in the accident: Nursara Suknamai, Kaveporn Punpare, pilot Eric Swaffer and his partner Izabela Roza Lechowicz.
The club president's wife, Aimon, and her son, Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha, were joined on the ground by Thai FA president Somyot Poompanmoung and his wife, Potjaman Poompanmoung.
Director Claude Puel joined his players, while Vice President Aiyawatt returned to see the tributes after arriving earlier in the morning, when about 200 fans cheered spontaneously.
"So helpless"
Former England goaltender Peter Shilton, who started his career in Leicester City, left the stadium on Saturday night with his wife when he said he saw the helicopter "take off in a spiral.
"I was in shock and I'm still … we were so helpless," he said.
"It's something that will live with us forever – it's one of the most horrible things that no one can see."
Sports and entertainment personalities are outside the stadium, including Leicester rock band singer, Kasabian, Tom Meighan.
Mr. Meighan, who joined the grieving supporters, said the death of the club's owner, Mr. Vichai, was like "the loss of a member of your family".
The club's ambassador, Alan Birchenall, said Leicester City owed everything to Mr. Vichai.
"There will be no dry skin among the staff today," he added.
A book of condolences will be open at King Power Stadium from Tuesday morning and the team's match against Southampton in the EFL Cup, scheduled for this evening, has been postponed.
Many players paid tribute to Mr. Vichai on social media, including club captain Wes Morgan.
He tweeted"Absolutely heartbroken and devastated by the news of our president, a man who has been loved and adored by everyone here at CFL."
In a statement, Leicester City said that the club's ideas were with "the Srivaddhanaprabha family and the families of all who are on board at this moment of indefinable loss".
Earlier Monday, the Duke of Cambridge paid tribute to Mr. Vichai, calling him a "devoted family man".
Prince William said Mr. Vichai was making a significant contribution to football, adding that the season of the Premier League title at Leicester City "captivated the imagination of the world".
Prime Minister Theresa May said: "The influx of grief bears witness to the number of people who have been affected by the lives of those on board."
Mr. Swaffer had over 20 years of experience as a private jet and helicopter pilot.
Her friend Lucie Morris-Marr said that he was a "veteran on the ground" and that he would have done everything in his power to prevent lives being lost in the accident .
She described him as a "funny and keen" man who was participating in a "love story of aviation" with Ms. Lechowicz, who was also a pilot.

"Few people go to work and travel with their soul mates, traveling the world to prestigious places," she said.
The couple lived together in Camberley, Surrey. Ms. Lechowicz left Poland for the United Kingdom in 1997.
In a statement, the Polish Embassy said: "She was an excellent pilot, winner of the # Polka100 contest, which helped to create a positive image of Poland in the UK".
The Air Accident Investigation Branch said the inspectors would be on the scene of the accident until the end of the week before transporting the wreckage to specialized facilities at Farnborough.
"In the meantime, we are still gathering evidence as part of our investigation," said a spokesman.
The Italian aerospace company Leonardo, who built the helicopter, said it was "the first accident involving an AW169 helicopter" and that he was "ready to support the helicopter". ; AAIB ".
