the CMA 2018 Award the winners have begun to be announced and the names already include some of the biggest stars in country music.

Kenny Chesney, David Lee Murphy and Thomas Rhett were all announced among the first winners of the CMA Awards during the broadcast of Hello America Wednesday morning (14 November). Murphy and Chesney won Music event of the year for their collaboration on "Everything is going to be okay", and Rhett took home Music video of the year for "Marry Me" with director TK McKamy.

Chris Stapleton directs the nominations for the CMA Awards 2018 with a total of seven, including Album, Singer, Singer, Single and Artist of the Year. Jason Aldean, Miranda Lambert, Rhett and Keith Urban each received four nominations.

The CMA Awards 2018 will air live from Nashville Wednesday night on ABC at 8:00 pm ET. Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley are back to the host for the eleventh consecutive year. CMA nominees and winners are determined by more than 7,400 professional members of the Country Music Association.
