When it comes to Halloween candy, people have opinions. The Haters oppose sweet corn as their plea for nuclear disarmament, and most Americans would fear death by eating one of those weird caramel apples. Once Halloween arrives, these grudges come up.

Maybe nobody took it as far as the High Point town government, which posted a message on Facebook announcing it was banning the city's peanut butter kisses. If you do not know them, they are a strange candy to chew in a weird and waxy package. To say the least, they have not even figured at the bottom of our ranking of the best Halloween sweets.

The publication on Facebook reads: "Very well everyone, we give you a notice of a week while you prepare to deceive or treat to remind you that by order of the city are prohibited. Nobody likes them, do not give them. "

In case the thing about "acceptable candy emperor" did not warn you, it's a gag. But the vitriol against kisses with peanut butter is not a joke. The News & Observer points out that a survey of 40,000 customers revealed that they were the fifth most hated Halloween candy.

Even if you live in the city of High Point, no one will stop you for distributing these sweets. But if you succeed, do not be surprised if you have dirty looks.
