ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – The red tide is worsening in Pinellas, Manatee and Sarasota counties, according to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
The mid-week report on the concentrations of Karenia brevis, the body responsible for the red tide, was highlighted compared to last week. The proliferation of algae has worsened in these three counties.
The counties of Pinellas and Manatee were killed and respiratory irritation was observed in the three counties.
