Hollywood Film Awards 2018: the complete list of winners

And just like that, the awards season has officially started.

the Hollywood Film Awards 2018 were held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills as the ceremony celebrated its 22nd year. Crazy Rich Asians star Awkwafina hosted the event, dethroning James Cordenhas three years as host of the evening.

According to their website, the HFA "honors some of the most acclaimed films and actors, as well as previews of highly anticipated films and talents for the coming year". Some of these "acclaimed films and actors" include Hugh Jackman, Glenn Close Damien Chazelle and Amandla Stenberg.

Big little lies star Nicole Kidman received a great honor at the show. She has received the Hollywood Career Achievement Award because she has played several roles, including Aquaman and The goldfinch.
