In the United States, Honda recalls approximately 232,000 Accord vehicles and 2019 2019 hybrid vehicles in the United States due to faulty software for displaying the rear camera.

No case of accident or injury related to the problem was reported, said Friday the spokesman of Honda, Tomoko Takemori.

The Tokyo-based automaker said that aside from the recall of the United States, Honda recalled 14,000 vehicles in Canada, more than 6,000 vehicles in Germany and nearly 3,000 in South Korea for the same problem.

The software will be updated for free, the company said.

He said that the rear camera display does not display the images correctly when the driver moves to the rear in the vehicles involved, a problem that can be dangerous and not in accordance with the requirements of the United States.
