The home of the Los Angeles Dodgers right defender, Yasiel Puig, was robbed Tuesday night, the fourth time a police report has been filed in a residence owned by the baseball star over the last 18 months.
It's the third time that Puig's current home in San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles has been burglarized, and the second time this month.
Jeff Lee, Los Angeles Police Department Information Officer, told USA TODAY Sports that a 5800 block house on Avenue Louise in the Encino neighborhood in Los Angeles Angeles was robbed around 8:10 pm.
On the basis of scanner traffic reviewed by USA TODAY Sports, the police responded to a LAPD regulator which indicated an address corresponding to Puig's home address in the public registers. The LAPD has a policy in which it does not name victims of crime in cases like this.
Lee said three African-American suspects in their twenties had fled the scene in a black four-door Toyota vehicle carrying downtown LA license plates said that we do not know what goods were stolen or their value. An alarm sensor triggered the dispatch of the police.

This is the fourth house robbery incident in Puig – all of which occurred at a time when he was forced to participate in MLB games or responsibilities.
The first burglary took place at Puig's previous residence in Sherman Oaks, California in March 2017 while he was at the spring training. About $ 170,000 worth of jewelery was stolen on this occasion.
Puig's home in San Fernando Valley was robbed first in the seventh game of the World Series in November. There was also a police report filed for a robbery incident at this location when Puig was playing at the Dodgers' home game against the Diamondbacks on September 1st.
Lee said the LAPD closed Tuesday's investigation without any suspects, and said the department would not comment on whether the four burglaries – or some of them – were related.
