The August 16 burglary – or bank hijacking – occurred near the Texas Medical Center, a collection of more than 60 medical facilities located near downtown, KHOU reported.

The surveillance video released on Wednesday shows that the victim had just withdrawn money from a nearby bank and parked in a parking lot as he was getting out of his truck.
The thieves pushed him to the ground and hit him in the head before escaping with an undisclosed amount of money in a Toyota sedan, the newspaper reported.
The police did not say how much money had been stolen. It was unclear whether the victim had been injured.
