Cardi B have a good month of fashion. The 25-year-old rapper is currently in Paris, attending the Mugler show Wednesday in an all-black fashion house look. Tuesday night, she was busy performing during the Etam lingerie show, wearing a feathered lavender suit by Christian Cowan. That happens a few weeks later after she sits at the forefront at shows like Jeremy Scott and Tom Ford, and she became the subject of the week when threw a shoe at Nicki Minaj during the Harper's Bazaar Party Icons (while staying glamorous in a Dolce & Gabbana red dress).
This is not the first time that Cardi turns around the fashion, but it is the first season where she is the undisputed star. Last fall, after his song "Bodak Yellow" became a ubiquitous presence on the radio and beyond, Cardi was present at some fashion shows in New York, including Rihanna Fenty x Puma, Christian Siriano, and the blondes. Since then, she has given birth to her first child, has become a married woman, has won two Grammy nominations and has had her own Tom Ford lipstick named after her. At a time when Fashion Week is regularly declared "dead" and unable to attract celebrities, Cardi is booming and is attracting all the attention that, in recent decades, has been able to spread to Other high level participants.
After New York Fashion Week, Cardi flew to Milan to sit in front row at Dolce & Gabbana, wearing a coat and boots from home, as well as a pair of "D.G. Then she went to Paris, where she is currently busy serving upscale looks, including a multicolored dress by Michael Costello with a matching flat-brimmed hat.
After spitting with Minaj during the Harper's Bazaar The party, some in social media have quickly criticized the new darling of fashion, declaring it "too much" just in the beginning. In a video posted on Instagram on Tuesday, she tackled the problem in a Cardi way.
"Why can not we just stop making rumors that I just want to make me believe that I just passed and all that?" "When my time is up, you will see when my time is up. My numbers will go down, I will not be on the charts, people will stop fucking with me. You will see. God says it's not my time, so relax, enjoy the show and worry about your life.
Given her current schedule of fashion week, we are inclined to think she is right.
