How Khloe Kardashian found true happiness in his most hectic year

Last year, Khloe celebrated with a starry surprise party launched by her boyfriend, Tristan Thompson. This year, Khloe will celebrate her special day with a new family member, her granddaughter True Thompson.

While 33 surely brought Khloe so much joy and happiness, the E! star has been facing many ups and downs in the last year. But, through tough times, Khloe has always remained a strong, fiercely loyal and resilient woman, who has proven that she can overcome any and all.

Back in 2017, Tristan kicked off Khloe's birthday week with a surprise party at Blind Dragon in West Hollywood with all his loved ones present.

"Khloe looked happy and really good," said a spectator to E! News at the time, while another source added that Khloe and Tristan "were extremely in love" and were "loving all night".

"One could say that Tristan is really in love with her and has stayed by her side all night," said the insider. "The family loves Tristan and they all took pictures with him and really treated him as a member of the family."

The couple enjoyed their summer together, and then in the fall, rumors began to surface that the pair were expecting their first child together.

But, the good American designer and the star of Cleveland Cavaliers did not immediately discuss the baby news. After some subtle comments over the next few months, Khloe confirmed her pregnancy with a nice Instagram post just before Christmas.

"My biggest dream come true, we're going to have a baby!" Khloe wrote next to a picture of her and Tristan holding his baby bump. "I had waited and wondered, but God had a plan from the beginning, he knew what he was doing, I just had to trust him and be patient, I still do not happen to believe that our love has created life!

"Tristan, thank you for loving me like you do!" Khloe continued. "Thank you for treating me like a queen! Thank you for making me feel beautiful at all stages! After this period, Khloe was very open about her pregnancy and shared many baby details in the months leading up to her daughter's birth. During the final of the March season of KUWTKKhloe learned that she and Tristan were waiting for a little girl.

That same month, Khloe celebrated his birthday and Tristan's birthday.

On April 6, Khloe shared with her fans that she had packed her hospital bag and was ready to leave when the baby was ready to be born.

"When will come the time to go to the hospital to give birth to my granddaughter, I'll be ready," Khloe said in a post about his application. "Of course, I'm already excited for a while, LOL, I knew exactly what I wanted to put in my hospital bag – a lot of comfortable things for me and for her!

Khloe gave birth to her first child with Tristan on Thursday, April 12th. According to an insider, Khloe went into work on April 11. After his water broke, Khloe went into work for "several hours," by another source. She then gave birth at a Cleveland hospital the next morning.

Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian and Khloe's BFF, Malika Haqq, Were all there for the birth of the baby.

The arrival of the baby occurred shortly after a so-called cheating scandal involving Tristan was reported. In the midst of all cheating reports, Tristan returned to the basketball court for the Cleveland Cavaliers' last season game on April 11th. After the match, Tristan went to the hospital for the birth of the baby.

A few days after the birth of True, a source told E! News that Khloe was only focused on his baby.

"Khloe is hypnotized and completely in love with the baby," the source told E! New. "It's all she's thinking about, it's caring for the baby and being positive."

"She has not made any decisions on what she is going to do about Tristan, she is overwhelmed with emotion and can not think of anything other than the baby in this moment, "said the insider.

Meanwhile, a source told E! News about the same time that Khloe's family was "furious" at Tristan, which was confirmed later by Kim herself when she said Ellen Degeneres that Tristan's actions were "missed".

But in May, Khloe made the decision to give Tristan another chance.

"Khloe has given Tristan a new chance in their relationship, and is trying to put things together for the sake of True," shared insider with us last month. "Although she's crushed by the scandal, Khloe desperately wants things to work and wants to have a complete family."

And it seems that their couple is trying to get out of the scandal together. The duo has since left Cleveland with True Baby and has returned to California where they have been spotted spending time with his family.

"The whole family is delighted that Khloe is at home and that they will be nearby and will be part of True's life every day," an insider recently told E! New. "They made a big party and welcome home for her."

And now, Khloe seems to go back to his old routine, post regularly on social networks, train and spend time with his man, while taking care of their daughter. And it seems that the little girl has really been the key factor in Khloe's happiness this year. As she tweeted in May, Khloe now has her "bestie for life" and she is grateful for this new journey that she is going to live as a mother.
