LANSING, Mich. (WILX) – "Everyone in Whoville loved Christmas, but the Grinch, who lived just north of Whoville – did not do it."
The favorite film of the holiday movie, How Grinch's Theft was stolen by Dr. Seuss, can be viewed Friday at 8pm on WILX.
The program, created in 1966 for viewers, is animated and described as "a petty hermit goes down to an unsuspecting city to steal all the presents to the kids, but he ends up learning the true meaning of Christmas."
The famous actor Boris Karloff was the narrator and voice of Grinch. Karloff made famous the Frankenstein movie-monster in 1931.
This is the original movie "Grinch"; "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" came out in theaters with Jim Carrey in 2000, and "The Grinch", with Benedict Cumberbatch, is in theaters this holiday.
