What is at stake

jets: Week 1 could not have been better for the Jets. Rookie quarterback Sam Darnold had a huge mistake when he left pick-6 when taking possession, before settling for a solid game. The defense had its best game in years with five interceptions and the special teams became a weapon. But the Jets have not managed prosperity well in recent years. They have had only two sets of wins over the past two years, and each big win seems to be followed by a crushing defeat and then a series of defeats. The Jets must show that they can play regularly well, and if they do it early in the season, it could set the tone for something special. And a win would put them in a good position in the division.

dolphins: They are coming out of one of the strangest and most grueling games ever played after beating the 27-20 Titans in seven hours and 10 minutes – the longest match in the history of the NFL, thanks to two delays. It was a serious win, and now the Dolphins are trying to prove that they can exceed expectations – little expectation that they will compete for a playoff spot this season. A Jets win would be a good thing for rivalries and rubbish discussions – Jets fans have been very strong since last week's win. This would also establish the Dolphins as a team that could potentially surprise some people this season.

Key Match

The offensive line of Dolphins Cameron Wake and Robert Quinn against Jets: One of the reasons Darnold was so successful against the Lions was that he was never really forced after the first two attempts of the match. But with Wake and Quinn rushing from the outside, it is unlikely that things will go as well for the Jets this time.

"Both [are] The first two avatars are problematic, "said Jets coach Todd Bowles," Obviously, they beat them there. They will create a big problem, we have work to do for us. "

It will be impossible for the Jets to play the duo perfectly. But if they can limit the pressure and the bags, it will be fine. But if Quinn and Wake go wild and Darnold looks over his shoulder, it could be a bad day,

How will they win

jets: Last week, they did not have a bag against the Lions, but they pressured quarterback Matthew Stafford and forced him to make mistakes. And that's the recipe for the Jets again. They must put Ryan Tannehill uncomfortable and impose at least a turnover. (Tannehill has made two selections for Week 1.) But it's even more important for the Jets to establish the game of the race. The Jets did a great job in the first week with 169 yards on the ground. If they can throw the ball on the Dolphins, the Wake-Quinn combination will remain in Darnold's back. If the 21-year-old has time to throw and can avoid the big mistake like last week, the Jets should be happy.

dolphins: We already know that the pass rush will be the key to Miami. If dolphins can make life difficult for Darnold, their chances of winning increase exponentially. But they will also have to find a way to score on the Jets' sudden strong defense. And this work falls on the talented catcher Dolphins and coach Adam Gase. Receiver DeVante Parker was able to play Sunday, he came back to practice last week from a broken finger. Blend the versatile Kenny Stills, Danny Amendola and Jakeem Grant, and the Dolphins can take a funky look at the Jets. If they can find a way to get three touchdowns, it might be enough to win against a rookie quarterback who still has a lot to prove.
