Spectators The launch of SpaceX Friday morning from the Cape Canaveral Air Station will likely a visual mess since the rocket is on the horizon and crosses the dawn.

SpaceX and NASA managers confirmed Thursday that the teams were still aiming for 5: 42 hours to launch a Falcon 9 rocket and a Dragon capsule packaged with nearly 6,000 pounds of cargo, supplies and scientific experiments aimed at the International Space Station. The sunrise will not take place until 6:28, but the rocket and its escape should be illuminated by sunlight on the horizon just after takeoff.

Air Force forecasters confirmed that the conditions at Launch Complex 40 will likely be The Falcon 9 used for the mission, known as Commercial Resupply Services 15 or CRS-15, had already launched the TESS spacecraft of NASA in April. The launch of Friday will mark his last flight before it is rejected in the Atlantic Ocean, so no landing will be attempted. Dubbed B1045, the Booster is the latest version of Falcon 9 in Block 4 that is flying – after CRS-15, all future SpaceX missions will receive enhanced Block 5 boosters, the first of which was launched in May.
