After a confrontation during a recent football game, the University of Georgia player, Prather Hudson, did not miss the opportunity to ask the sideline reporter that he had just accidentally taken in front of the camera.

"Really sorry for knocking you out," he tweeted Monday to Laura Rutledge, a presenter and journalist for ESPN.

"But …" Hudson added. "I can pick you up at 7 o'clock."

He added an emoji representing a smiling face, wearing sunglasses, in case his thought was unclear.

Rutledge, who is married to professional baseball player Josh Rutledge, has done everything to fold – knocking Hudson down softly and succinctly. She tweeted back a face crying with laughter.

Their collision was captured by television cameras in Saturday's Georgia match against the University of Massachusetts.

According to Macon TelegraphHudson, a feared halfback from Columbus, was blocking another player when both were shot at close range and hit in Rutledge.
