Hudson Falls, a 12-year-old girl, reportedly abducted

On Thursday, an AMBER alert was issued against a 12-year-old girl allegedly abducted in Hudson Falls, New York.

The alert, issued at 1:27 pm EDT explained Thursday that 12-year-old Malaya Johnson had been seen for the last time with light red jeans, a white tank top and a light-colored backpack with a design. The Washington County Sheriff's Office activated the AMBER Alert for New York State after the girl was kidnapped at around 3pm. Wednesday.

Johnson has been described as a black woman with long brown hair and brown eyes. It is about 5 feet long and weighs about 115 pounds. She was reportedly abducted by someone in a Ford Mustang two-door red sedan carrying an unknown registration plate. The vehicle was last seen in the direction of New York.

The first AMBER alert did not reveal any information about any of the suspects. Anyone with information is encouraged to call AMBER's 911 or AMBER Alert at 866-697-2623.
