NEW DELHI – On Saturday, hundreds of people blocked streets and closed businesses in parts of central India to protest the rape of a 7-year-old girl. The protesters have asked for the death sentence for two suspects arrested because they were suspected of raping the girl and attempted to slit her throat with a knife on Tuesday in Mandsaur, a city of the same name.
