WEST OF THE MONKS – Hy-Vee recalled six meat and potato products for possible contamination with salmonella and listeria.

The company says the potential hazard was discovered when McCain Foods, a supplier of Hy-Vee, announced that it was recalling its caramelized mushrooms and fire-roasted tomatoes, ingredients used in Hy-Vee products .

No disease has been reported.

The products have a "best if used by" date of October 22, 2018, or earlier.

Items can be returned to Hy-Vee stores for a full refund.
