Hyundai Announces New Palisade flagship SUV for 2020

Hyundai announced that it would build a large three-row crossover at the Santa Fe 2019 show, but this vehicle now bears a name: the Palisade.

Named after a series of coastal cliffs and the beautiful and wealthy neighborhood of Southern California, the Palisade for eight passengers will be the flagship SUV of the Korean brand.

"The future Palisade sport utility vehicle will have a bold exterior that attracts attention and a strong intrinsic safety image, especially important for parents whose family is growing and having an active lifestyle," says Hyundai.

"The palisade style will offer dignity and style in a sober theme that demonstrates a clear differentiation worthy of a flagship SUV. "

The last time, Hyundai had marketed a three-row Veracruz, a popular vehicle that unfortunately did not sell. The company did not think it was the right decision to relaunch the name because it was such a flop.

There is a lot going on at Palisade: a new nameplate usually represents hundreds of millions of dollars in marketing and advertising. It should therefore live up to expectations.

The Palisade 2020 will be unveiled in its entirety at the 2019 auto show in Los Angeles at the end of November and will go on sale in the summer of 2019.
