Elba is PEOPLE's 33rd most sexually active man, joining a long list of Hollywood hottest, starting with Mel Gibson, then 29, in 1985, and last year's pick, Blake Shelton. Recent winners include The Rock, Channing Tatum and David Beckham.

His revelation was made during the Monday night episode of Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallonwhere Elba said. "It's amazing! I'm really very happy with that.Thank you very much to PEOPLE magazine for making me the sexiest man in the world.My mother is going to be very very proud.
