While promoting his new movie, Instant family, in an interview with The New York TimesRose Byrne had some thoughts on Louis C.K's return attempts. Namely, do not surprise people, a concept that has always been difficult for C.K:

I think that if he will introduce himself, everyone must know that they can make a decision, for example, "I do not want to see this guy, I'm away."

Byrne also talked about playing in the C.K. project, I love you dad:

You are entering with such good intentions, and Louis has been very kind to me and I have had a very respectful experience. But it is obviously very complicated and I stand beside the women who have come forward.

According to Byrne, part of the responsibility for C.K.'s return rests with powerful guards, though mysterious in the context of the interview:

It is also the guardians of safety around these things that give people the chance to make their comeback. They are really very powerful. I would like to see them be held responsible a little more.

Well, let's see these guardians. No time like the present.
