Ina Garten does not claim full responsibility for the love story of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, but she has played a vital role.
On the episode of this weekend Sunday today with Willie GeistGeist asks Garten that Markle is preparing Harry's roast chicken recipe at night.
"I know that she loved cooking my roast chicken" Barefoot Contessa the host said. "What we call the engagement because every time you do it, someone asks you to marry them."
While laughing, Geist said, "We will understand that you were responsible for the royal wedding."

When Markle and Harry, who made a blitzkrieg tour, announced their engagement last December, they opened towards the evening of the proposal.

At the time of the engagement news, Garten reacted with his reaction.
"I thought it was great because it shows that everyone is happy to have something simple and really good," she told PEOPLE. "It's nourishing and I really like them to cook together.
