WWE and independent fight star WALTER have already agreed.
According to PWInsider, the Austrian giant will join the British brand NXT.
WALTER, who is currently based in Germany, regularly fights for the best European promotions such as Progress and wXw. He was also PWG champion but recently handed the title to Jeff Cobb.
The 31-year-old journalist discussed the possibility of a move to the United States during a conversation last month with "Stone Cold" on the Steve Austin Show. "America is not for me," WALTER said when Austin asked him if he planned to move to the United States.
"I love the German-Austrian way of life," he added. "My base will always be Germany."
This would not, however, prevent the signing of NXT UK. WWE reportedly offered new offers with the talent of NXT UK over the weekend, which only allows them to fight for freelance WWE affiliates such as the WALTER wXw home promotion.
We have tried to confirm the signature of WALTER, but we have not yet received any substantial confirmation. Sources tell us, however, that his imminent signature at WWE was the reason why PWG officials had asked him to leave the title to Cobb.
As you may remember, the 31-year-old wrestler denied being offered a contract with WWE in the past. We will keep you informed if it makes a public statement regarding the signed signature.
