India welcomed Saturday's decision by a global watchdog that has placed Pakistan in a list of countries monitored to prevent terrorist financing. In a statement, the Ministry of External Affairs welcomed the publication of Pakistan's gray list by the Paris-based Financial Action Group (FATF) and expressed hope that Pakistan will prevent acts of terrorism emanating from its territory

Being on the gray list will force Pakistan to obtain additional guarantees while borrowing funds from international donors such as IMF and other such entities Pakistan was on the FATF gray list between 2012 and 2015 but was removed from the list.
