The American League series is present and, contrary to popular belief, two series begin Friday. The Houston Astros and Cleveland Indians are ALDS's Jan Brady, especially given all the hype surrounding the Red Sox-Yankees series, but it's a great game on its own.
To begin
Race prevention is the name of the game for both teams, and sacred cow, these two pitching sticks are ridiculous. The Astros are better than anyone, with their 534 points allotted to 86 points less than the next best team (Dodgers). Houston has allowed the least number of baseball races in the last three years.
Prior to 2018, only three teams in history had three pitchers with 200 strikeouts. This year the Astros have done it, with Justin Verlander, Gerrit Cole and Charlie Morton. But the Indians did even better, becoming the first all-time team with four pitchers with 200 strikeouts – Carlos Carrasco, Corey Kluber, Trevor Bauer and Mike Clevinger.
In other words, do not expect throwers in this series.
Star infields
Alex Bregman had an epic season for the Astros, with 51 doubles and 31 homers in the second full season, and for the reigning MVP, Jose Altuve, his .316 / .386 / .451 actually counts down season for him; it's how high his level is. Carlos Correa missed six weeks due to back pain and still had an above-average year, including 15 home runs in 102 games.
The Indians have a pair of basic influencers of more than 80 players to Francisco Lindor and Jose Ramirez, who will likely finish in the top five places in the MVP vote. Lindor hit 38 homers and 42 doubles while playing an excellent defense at the short stop. Ramirez, at one point in August, led the AL into both circuits and stolen goals. He finished with 39 homers and 34 interceptions, the first 30-30 years for Cleveland.
Four of these glorious infielders are 25 years old or younger, and Altuve is the 28-year-old leader of the group. This series presents the best of these great players. Enjoy it.
Rematch that was not
These two teams were Assumed meet in 2017, the two winners of more than 100 games. Cleveland even had a 2-0 lead in the series in their ALDS against the Yankees before New York came back strong with three consecutive wins to eliminate the Indians.
That robbed us of an epic match against ALCS, which we will have to settle now as part of the fight against the occurrence of this year's disease. The Indians have not won 22 games in a row, as in 2017, but remain a formidable group, especially with their pitching staff.
Days are also a thing
If Division Series could win an Emmy, the Indians-Astros series would get its statues during the non-televised technical part of the procedure. While the Red Sox and Yankees occupy all prime-time coverage, this series is relegated to the early start time in the ALDS.
Here are the scheduled start times for the five-game series between the Indians and Astros:

Throw Cleveland a bone
Baker Mayfield is the future of the Browns, but despite their relative success so far in the NFL season, Cleveland has still not won the Sunday match since December 13, 2015. Unfortunately, the Indians can not quench their thirst since this series. Sunday is a day of travel, but Indians are the best thing to do right now in Cleveland Sports.

The best
Only one ALDS has the defending World Series champions. To be the best, you have to beat the best, so it's the only ALDS with flair.
So sit back and enjoy the Indians and Astros for next week or so. After all, it's the best AL Division series.
