A film as big as Avengers: Infinity War has seen many changes before finally appearing on the big screen, Marvel Studios wanting to highlight every aspect of the film to make fans happy.
Some changes were as important as the final confrontation between Thanos and the most powerful heroes of the Earth, while they were a little less important. As when it is the villain Cull Obsidian, the big member of the Black Order; he did not always have his chain-link hammers.

As shown in Art of Avengers: war in the infiniteCull Obsidian had almost different weapons when he attacked the superheroes. It would have been interesting to see the character with a pair of big blasters, but that would probably have reduced his intimidating stature, knowing that he had to fight from a distance. The giant hammers allow him to get up and personal, while giving him a certain reach.
Cull Obsidian was one of the less formidable members of the Dark Order, having been removed from the first great battle when Wong teleported into a desolate snow landscape. He then returned and tried to give Bruce Banner a run, but the Hulkbuster armor proved useful and Banner defeated Cull Obsidian alone.
It seems unlikely that the deceased members of the Black Order will come back, but we can not reasonably exclude them for the moment. After all, so many other characters would have made a strong comeback in Avengers 4.
Marvel Studios' producer, Michael Grillo, recently confessed to having Tilda Swinton back for a single day of filming, perhaps revealing that she would come back as an old man in the new film.
Frank Grillo himself has also admitted that his deceased character would make an appearance in the new film during an appearance on the UFC Uniltered podcast with Jim Norton.
"He [Crossbones] makes an appearance in the next Avengers movie. But it's a flashback, "Grillo said. Yes, and I have the right to say what I want because I never do another Marvel movie. "
When asked why Grillo was not worried about getting in trouble with Marvel or why he was not going to play in another movie, the actor responded with hilarity and brutality: "Because I'm 117 years old. "
We'll see if the black order comes back when Avengers 4 premieres in theaters on May 3, 2019.
