NEW CANAAN, CT – The New Canaan Department of Health and Social Services will begin offering seasonal flu shots on October 2 at Vine Cottage, 61 Main St. (Yellow House next to New Canaan City Hall). Vaccinations will be made without an appointment.
Opening hours are Wednesdays from 9:00 to 10:00 and appointments from Monday to Friday between 9:00 and 16:00. Call the department's main line at 203-594-3076 to make an appointment.
The following Sanofi vaccine is available while stocks last: quadrivalent seasonal influenza vaccine. The vaccine contains no preservatives and will be administered to residents 9 years of age and older.
High dose Fluzone will be available for 65 years and older.
Cost: $ 30 – cash or check, or Medicare will be charged at the eligible rate.
