According to inspectors, three people are responsible for the death of their accomplice during a house invasion in Thonotosassa in May.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office on Saturday arrested Taylor Pritt and Vincent Benitez, accusing them of second-degree murder with a gun and a home invasion with a gun. MPs have issued an arrest warrant against Ashley Causey, 32, for the same charges.

On May 31, according to the sheriff's office, Pritt, Benitez, Causey and Michael Caddo allegedly attempted to rob a house located at 12966 Morris Bridge Road, Lot 10, Tampa. The owner, inside at the time of the intrusion, shot dead Caddo, 25, was killed, detectives said.

Because Caddo was killed in a criminal act, the sheriff's office believes that anyone who helped plan and participate in the home invasion can be charged with murder.

The officials did not disclose any information about the owner, nor any other details related to the case.

The detectives are still looking for Causey. Anyone with information should contact the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office at (813) 247-8200 or Crime Stoppers at (800) 873-8477. Anonymous tricks can be sent using the HCSOSheriff application.
