The Irish Aviation Authority is investigating after an unidentified flying object was sighted by pilots flying over Ireland.

Other aircraft flying in the area reported the same thing. A spokesman for the Irish Aviation Authority told The Irish Times that he was investigating the incident and that he would be filing a report. "This report will be the subject of an investigation as part of the normal investigation process on a confidential event."
The spokesman added that it was unlikely to be aliens from another planet.
