Ho-hum. Alabama has done it again.
All this hype, all that deserved praise for LSU, but the Crimson Tide entered a stormy environment in the Valley of Death and overwhelmed his SEC counterparts with a 29-0 loss.
Team Nick Saban prevented the Tigers from reaching the red zone until the fourth quarter and outshot them from 576-196.
Bama improved to 9-0 and won the SEC West. The Tide won its eighth consecutive meeting of the series, a stretch with three shutouts–of which two in Baton Rouge.
All of this went against the nation's No. 3 team. Are not we bored?
If you are good, it is understandable. It's like Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant and the NBA's Golden State Warriors right now. You know what's going on. You know how this story ends. Although we continue to watch, we are waiting for the inevitable.
Alabama is yet to face the states of Mississippi and Auburn with the lower division Citadel sandwiched between the two to close the regular season. Nevertheless, Crimson Tide will likely be the favorite of the three touchdowns or better in each of these matches.
According to an ESPN insider Phil Steele, a ratings maker set the opening line of the SEC championship game between Alabama and Georgia at -13.5% in favor of the tide. So much for a title fight in the best league of this sport.
Maybe you are looking for the fast forward button. And it's silly to suggest: "No, friend, sit back and enjoy every moment of this greatness." If you are already on the other side of the fence, it will not change after another domination.
Yet, it's the maximum excellence in college football.
Love it or hate it, it's a wonder to watch.
Saban has continuously raised the bar in a sport that has celebrated several dynasties but has abandoned them much faster than the Crimson Tide allowed. For over ten years, Alabama has been the biggest match of the season for each opponent. Yet this emotional momentum only rarely comes after the whistle opening.
You do not like it? Get better.
This is not a simple task, clearly. LSU coach Ed Orgeron told reporters about the loss of the shuttlecock, highlighting the Tigers' need–to put it bluntly–best players to compete with the tide.

LSU Orgeron: "Alabama has mastered us. When you protect yourself and do everything you can and beat them, you have to look at the staff. I do not think it's a ploy. "He says that LSU has to recruit more line players and that Bama is on both sides.
The only team with a composition comparable to that of Alabama is Clemson–or, you know, the Cleveland Cavaliers led by LeBron James. The Cavs are caught in Golden State–like Clemson did Bama–but just one.
However, we should not complain about programs that strive to reach new heights never before achieved. This implies better recruitment, better development of the players. The target, however, is not just greatness. No, it is the historical excellence.
Largely thanks to the star quarto Tua Tagovailoa–who tried his first pass in the fourth quarter of the season on Saturday, and he launched a single–Alabama is in discussion for the best team in the history of college football.
The Crimson Tide has never known this level of production in attack. Tagovailoa, who has scored 30 touchdowns in nine games against a single interception in almost 200 attempts, makes it a record-breaking campaign.
And Saturday's fall performance by an equally elitist yet not perfect defense has reinforced this idea in a campaign full of eruptions.

The two best academic teams of the modern era are 2001 Miami and 2004 USC. Miami played two games with 11 points and USC five with 11 points. Alabama still have not played a game with 22 points this year.
Now, imagine beating this team.
Of course, even the theoretical options may seem limited. Notre Dame or Michigan? I doubt it. Ohio State, Oklahoma or West Virginia, do some of you have enough defense? Georgia feels almost like a stretch. Clemson is the best hope given his immense talent and track record in Alabama.
If this happens, the underdog immediately claims one of the biggest upheavals in the history of college football.
And the alternative is to watch a legendary team prosper.
We understand the prevalence of fatigue in Alabama. But like it or not, this time of Crimson Tide football leaves a remarkable imprint that this sport will remember for a long time.
Even if it seems a bit boring at the moment.
